WESTPORT — The Building Department has issued a permit to demolish the house at 159 Easton Road.

The two-story Colonial was built in 1965. It has 3,200 square feet of living space, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a half-bathroom, basement, screened porch, wood deck and finished upper story.

The property traded hands in January for $1,262,000. It had previously traded for $575,000 in 1997. The property’s current assessment is $710,100.
