WESTPORT–The Historic District Commission recently approved the issuance of a permit to demolish the house at 105 Harbor Road.

The single-story contemporary was built in 1956. It has 2,600-square-feet of living space, four bedrooms, three baths, a garage, a stone patio, wood deck, a finished utility shed and a finished upper story.

The property traded hands last September for $3,200,000 (making it the second three-million-dollar house set for demolition this year). It had previously traded for $1,850,000 in 2009. The property’s current assessment is $1,262,400.

Harbor Road is in the Saugatuck Shores area.
