WESTPORT — Tree limbs took down power lines in the Wilton Road area Tuesday night.
The incident, which began about 8 p.m., had Wilton Road closed to traffic.
Utility trucks arrived on the scene before 11:30 p.m.
The outage had 156 Eversource customers without power around midnight. By sunrise, 40 customers were still awaiting service.
The utility earlier provided estimates when power would be restored, pushing it forward several times.
Wednesday afternoon, all customers had service restored.
The area, after a prolonged period without significant rain, received 2.7 inches in a 24-hour period.
