WESTPORT — A stretch of Hillspoint Road, between Greens Farms and Hales roads, has been closed to traffic about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday because of an emergency response to “wires down.”
A traffic detour around the affected area is in force until further notice Wednesday evening, according to the emergency alert.
The power company Eversource, as of 6 p.m., reports only a handful of “less than two” outages in Westport.
No other details about the incident were immediately available.
