Following is an opinion from Westporter Liz Falk. Though Falk is the President of Westport Pride, this is her personal opinion and not Westport Pride’s.

I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Lee Goldstein for State Representative.

I met Lee shortly after she moved to Westport, when we served together on the PTA. Through her work on the PTA and the Board of Education, Lee has demonstrated thoughtful leadership, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to responsible stewardship of our community’s resources. Lee understands that fiscal responsibility means planning ahead, making informed decisions, and ensuring that taxpayer dollars are used wisely.

Just as importantly, Lee brings both intelligence, and heart to her work. She shows up.  She listens carefully, approaches challenges thoughtfully, and genuinely cares about the people she serves. She has the ability to tackle complex issues with sound reasoning while never losing sight of the individuals and families affected by those decisions. I am confident she will bring this same combination of practical judgment, compassion, and dedication to representing our community in Hartford.

I am proud to support Lee Goldstein for State Representative.

Local Elections Matter! Early voting is currently happening through Nov. 1 at Town Hall; election day is Nov. 3 at your local polling place.

Sincerely,

Liz Falk
