Following is the obituary for DONNA NABER, submitted by her family.

Donna Naber, age 89, passed away on May 22, 2023, in Fairfield. 

Donnie was an avid gardener and dedicated member of Greens Farms Garden Club, having served as club president. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Naber, who was president and CEO of Glendinning Companies in Westport. 

Donnie was a longtime resident of Connecticut, also having lived in Weston, Litchfield and Easton. She was a seasonal resident of Great Harbour Cay, Bahamas, and lived in London, England, for two years. In addition to gardening, Donnie enjoyed her cats, reading and gourmet cooking.

She spent her childhood in Seaton, Ill., and met her future husband, Jim, while she was a student at Western Illinois State Teachers College in Moline, Ill.

Donnie is survived by her sons, J. Mark Naber of Sanibel, Fla., and Stuart Naber of Golden Valley, Minn., and daughters-in-law Jodie (Reisman) Naber and Mary Kaeding.

The family plans a private memorial. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite health, welfare, environmental or educational charity.
