Following is the obituary for AUDREY MAGIDA, submitted by the Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Audrey Magida, of Westport, died May 4, 2023. She was 93.

The daughter of Benjamin and Jean Seltzer, she was a lifelong lover of New York City, where she was born and raised, and graduated from George Washington High School.

She moved to Westport in 1961, and had a long career as a real estate broker, most recently with Prudential Real Estate.

She was an honorary life member of Temple Israel, having served as president of the Sisterhood, board member and vice president of the congregation. She was an avid book reader and bridge player, theater devotee, classical music concert-goer, ballet and dance connoisseur, and enthusiastic sailboat passenger.

She took great joy in her family — her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous cousins.

She was married for 65 years to Nathan Magida, and is survived by her children, Dan (and Nancy), Meg and Matt (and Pat); her grandchildren, Ben, Sarah, Jane, Emily and Sam, and her great-grandchildren, Nathan and Aiden.
