WESTPORT — The ride-booking app for the Wheels2U Westport shuttle buses is scheduled to be updated overnight Monday, March 25.

Passengers using the app Tuesday, March 26, or whenever booking their next ride, are advised by the Westport Transit District to take the following steps:

  • After logging in, users will be prompted to create a new account. Current or new credentials can be used.
  • Re-enter payment information.
  • Then proceed to book a ride.

Transit officials say app users should allow several minutes to complete the process.

No other changes are planned for the on-demand shuttle rides to and from Westport’s railroad stations.

The fare will remain $2, and rides can continue to be scheduled Mondays through Fridays, from 5:45 to 10 a.m. and from 4 to 9:30 p.m.
