WESTPORT — Absentee ballot applications will be issued during special Saturday hours at the Town Clerk’s Office in Town Hall in advance of the Nov. 7 municipal election.

The office will be open from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, according to Town Clerk Jeffrey Dunkerton. The Town Clerk’s Office is in Room 105 of Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave.

For information about who is eligible to vote by absentee ballot, check details on the Secretary of the State’s website. Applications for absentee ballots also can be downloaded from that site.

Absentee ballot applications also will be available during regular weekday hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., through Monday, Nov. 6, at the Town Clerk’s Office.

To be counted in the Nov. 7 election, an absentee ballot must be returned to the Town Clerk’s Office no later than 8 p.m. Election Day.
