WESTPORT — Officials at the Westport Center for Senior Activities, citing the slowing rate of COVID-19 infections, plan to reopen the center for in-house programs Monday, Jan. 31.
All visitors to the center, including those planning to have lunch, will be required to wear masks — regardless of vaccination status — in accordance with the current town mandate for municipal buildings, according to the announcement.
The senior center was closed as a precaution in late December — and lunches were available only to be picked up — as the highly infectious Omicron variant spread throughout the region.
Pre-registration is required for all of the center’s programs, including lunch. Detailed information about programs, signup forms and lunch menus can be found here.
