WESTPORT — Five “Students of the Month” for May have been selected at Staples High School.

Jordyn Goldshore, who was unable to join the group photo.

Those students are: junior Jordyn Goldshore, sophomores Kervin Joseph and Michael Blishteyn, and freshmen Davi Da Silva and Jonah Bernstein.

Students, nominated by their teachers, are recognized for helping “make Staples High School a welcoming place for their peers and teachers alike,” according to the school’s announcement. 

“They are the ‘glue’ of the Staples community: the type of kind, cheerful, hard-working, trustworthy students that keep the high school together, making it the special place that it is.

“In short, these students are all-around good citizens of our school.”
