WESTPORT — Eight “Students of the Month” have been selected for November at Staples High School.

The honorees are: seniors Dylan Fiore and Dylan Walsh, juniors William Boberski and Kate Weitz, sophomores Tyler Smalls and Mia Zibly, and freshmen Ishan Pasham and Eliza Wadley.

Each month, students are nominated by teachers for helping to make the high school “a welcoming place for their peers and teachers alike,” according to the Staples announcement.

They also are considered “all-around good citizens” of the school, recognized for “the positive attitude they bring to school every day in making Staples High School a genial place in which to learn and teach.”
