WESTPORT — An “open public forum” for the community to weigh in on school district issues will be hosted Nov. 15 by the Board of Education.

The session is set at noon Tuesday, Nov. 15, in the Westport Public Library, 20 Jesup Road.

The forum will be moderated by Velma Heller, former moderator of the Representative Town Meeting.

Members of the school board and Supt. of Schools Thomas Scarice are scheduled to be on hand to discuss issues and answer questions from the public. The event marks a return to the community forums conducted by the board prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
