WESTPORT — Santa, with a boost from elves at the Westport-Weston Family YMCA, will help families ring in the holiday season Saturday with “Jingle Bells Jamboree.” 

The event, featuring a ho, ho host of activities, will take place at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Y, 14 Allen Raymond Lane.

Activities will include ornament decorating, face painting, a bouncy house and a lights-bedecked bus ride to the “North Pole” (Beck Lodge). There, youngsters can meet with Santa as he takes a break from his workshop, and partake of snacks and hot cocoa.

Food also will be available for purchase from the 900 Degrees Pizza Food Truck throughout the event.
