Westport Library closed by burst pipe Friday, Saturday

WESTPORT — A burst water pipe has forced closure of the Westport Library today and tomorrow (Jan. 24-25).

In an announcement at midday Friday, library officials said because of the problem, all programs planned Friday and Saturday are cancelled or being rescheduled.

Officials “tentatively” hope to reopen the library Sunday, Jan. 26. Check the Westport Library website for updates.

The Winter Dance Party, with Christine Ohlman and Rebel Montez, scheduled Friday night will now take place Feb. 7, according to the announcement.
