WESTPORT — It’s a fertile time of year to start making plans for your own garden of delights, and the Westport Garden Club is here to help.

The club will host its annual plant sale Saturday, May 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on downtown’s Jesup Green, next to the Westport Library. It will take place rain or shine.

The event will feature a range of more than 1,000 plants, from perennial and floral varieties to vegetables, herbs and native species.

Also on offer will be bouquets, planters and garden-themed gift items suitable for Mother’s Day. There also will be children’s activities and food will be available.
