WESTPORT — Bike Westport, a recently organized group advocating for local bicycle and pedestrian safety, is rolling out a community survey to gauge Westporters’ views on the topic.

The online survey can be visited by clicking here. The survey should take about three minutes to complete, according to a publicity release.

“We are building a community of people who desire more, safer and better biking and walking options in Westport,” Markus Marty, founder of Bike Westport, said in the statement announcing the survey.

“The response so far has been encouraging. Our goal is to work with the town and state governments to establish a vision for more robust bicycling infrastructure that safely connects neighborhoods to key points of interests,” Marty added. “We also want to educate riders and drivers on safe biking practices and laws.”
