WESTPORT–Wakeman Town Farm hosted its annual fund-raiser on Saturday. The 285 guests enjoyed seasonal fare, live music, wine and signature cocktails. The farm raised over $100,000. Part of those funds will help Farm on the Go, the farm’s new outreach effort, to get off the ground.
The format for the fundraiser was a cocktail party with multiple food stations. According to Christy Colasurdo, Events and Communications Director, this helped create a more dynamic and energetic vibe and a better opportunity for mingling.
