Wakeman Town Farm Cultivates ‘Family Fun’ on Saturday

WESTPORT — See how things are doing down on the farm Saturday when Wakeman Town Farm hosts its annual “Family Fun Day.”

The event, showcasing a range of agriculture-themed attractions, is set from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at the farm, 134 Cross Highway.

Tickets cost $5 for children, $10 for adults and $25 for a family of five or more. Purchase tickets online here.

Activities include an opportunity to visit the farm’s menagerie, seed planting, learn about bees and butterflies, and compete in the Farm Olympics.

Available refreshments will include pizza, ice cream, lemonade and iced coffee.

The School of Rock house band will perform at 1 p.m.
