WESTPORT — Around 100 literature listeners enjoyed the grass and sunshine at Jesup Green on Thursday morning when The Westport Library hosted Storytime on the Green.

Miss Kristan Nash, children’s librarian, shared a couple books, including “The Big Yawn,” which brought many smiles to her audience.

The program, which will meet again next Thursday, Aug. 12, at 10 a.m. for the last time this summer, also features song and movement for toddlers and their caretakers.

No registration is required and books are available for checkout following the half-hour event.
