Remarkable marquee: ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” movie poster — “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” will be screened Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Remarkable Drive-In.

WESTPORT — Weird, wild and wacky at the same time, the movie featured at the Remarkable Drive-In this week has defined “cult” in the movie world for nearly a half-century.

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” will be screened at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the drive-in, 50 Imperial Ave. Doors open at 5 p.m.

The 1975 musical-comedy unfolds as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, and his creation, Rocky, host a couple of lost innocents in their bizarre castle. The movie is rated R.

Tickets can be purchased at the Remarkable Theater’s website here.

Ticket proceeds benefit the Remarkable Theater’s goal of opening a nonprofit movie theater in downtown Westport that will employ people with disabilities.
