WESTPORT — The McDonald’s restaurant at the corner of Roseville Road on the Post Road East literally became a drive-thru Wednesday evening after an accident at the intersection closed the westbound lanes of the Post Road.

An Amazon driver who was making a left turn onto Roseville while traveling eastbound on the Post Road allegedly collided with an oncoming car.

The driver of the other car was taken to the hospital with possible head injuries.

Police diverted traffic onto Roseville Road and through the McDonald’s parking lot for a period of time, but soon had the intersection clear.
