WESTPORT — Sue’s Cafe — named for the Westport Center for Senior Activities’ mainstay leader and director, Sue Pfister — is the location for a wide range of events and activities, but the most consistent remains lunch time.

Thanks to volunteers — and a federally subsidized congregate luncheon program funded through the Older Americans At — every weekday people are given the opportunity to enjoy a well-made meal through a suggested anonymous donation.

More importantly, Pfister noted, seniors are “eating their meal with their friends and socializing.”
