Elections are in the news a lot lately, not only for who runs and who wins, but for how they are operated and how secure the results are.

Westporters interested in working at the polls for the upcoming elections – or simply interested in how they run – are invited to a free workshop at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Westport Center for Senior Activities, 21 Imperial Road, Westport.

Westport’s registrars of voters, Deborah Greenberg and Marie Signore, will discuss how they prepare for and run the process; results of the last election, including an election audit and recount results; and how early voting is working, as well as information about the upcoming August primaries, and fall 2026 election.

The hourlong program is presented by the Westport League of Women Voters. To learn more, send an email to lwvwestportct@yahoo.com.
