WESTPORT — Help turn the tide against trash cluttering the local shoreline July 27, with volunteer efforts buoyed by free kayak rentals.
A coastal cleanup will be sponsored from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27, by Longshore Sailing School based at Longshore Club Park, 260 Compo Road South.
People interested in volunteering for the project can register for kayaks by clicking here, and use the code “Cleanup.”
Participants must be at least 5 years old, according to cleanup organizers.
