WESTPORT–Nature lovers gathered at Earthplace Saturday night. The annual “Woodside Bash” fundraiser raised thousands of dollars.

Earthplace is focused on raising critical funds to make the preserve accessible for all, especially schoolchildren from coastal Connecticut cities.

“Many children grow up with little to no access to green spaces or nature-based educational programs. Closing the “nature gap” supports better outcomes for children, and early exposure to nature and STEM education opens doors to future earning potential,” said Amee Borys, Earthplace Executive Director. “We are proud to provide the early experiences that can shape a child’s future. The demand for our programs is greater than ever, and the federal funding landscape poses a significant challenge.”
