WESTPORT–Nathan Lane and Anne Keefe were honored by 450 patrons and attendees of the Westport Country Playhouse gala event Saturday, Oct. 4.

Lane has earned a reputation as one of the best comedic stage and cinema actors of his day.  Lane was the evening’s artistic honoree.

Keefe, the former Westport Country Playhouse co-artistic director, has produced scores of productions at the Westport Country Playhouse over the past five decades.

Keefe received the WCP’s 2025 Playhouse Leadership Award.

According to Playhouse officials, donations generated by the event netted the playhouse more than a quarter million dollars.
