WESTPORT–On Sunday morning, police warn that drivers need to exercise extreme caution near Compo Beach. The annual Minuteman Race will take place Sunday, April 26, from 7 to 11 a.m.
The race will begin at Compo Beach and travel along various roads throughout the Compo Beach area.
All roads will be open to cars and trucks, so drivers should exercise caution while traveling in the area. Drivers should expect delays and plan accordingly. More than a thousand runners are expected to participate in the race.
