WESTPORT — Applications are being accepted for the annual community service grants program sponsored by the Westport Woman’s Club.
The Ruegg Grant program is open to local nonprofits, which will be considered for one-time funding of up to $10,000 for a project in Westport during 2024-25. Applicants should be promoting “impactful projects that benefit the Westport community, focusing on areas such as social services, health, safety, arts or education,” according to the club’s announcement.
Deadline to apply is Oct. 18. Applications can be found online here, and mailed to: Westport Woman’s Club, c/o Ruegg Grant Committee, 44 Imperial Ave., Westport, CT 06880.
The Ruegg Grant program, founded in 1995 from an endowment by former club member Lea Ruegg, since then has allocated more than $200,000 to various Westport community service initiatives.
