WESTPORT–Westport’s annual sidewalk sale was another success for merchants and shoppers. Thousands of shoppers were drawn to Westport Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with the lure of deep savings from the host of well-respected brands that maintain retail establishments in town.

“For three days, our sidewalks in downtown Westport become the heart of commerce filled with bargains, excitement and support for local merchants,” said Huong Belpedio, finance & operations director for the Westport Downtown Association, which organizes the event.

Shoppers sought out bargains displayed on Main Street, Elm Street, Church Lane, Post Road East and other spots around town.
