WESTPORT — Pause + Purpose opened its doors this week at 21 Jesup Road, overlooking the green.

A meditation studio and gathering place, the new business started by Emily Tuttle hopes to help the community slow down and find a little quiet time amidst 21st century living.

The studio offers drop-in meditation by donation, at this point from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the week.

Mindfulness gatherings will be scheduled as well, and the business hopes to encourage residents to share what kinds of wellness needs they’re specifically looking for.
