Westporter to perform ‘Cosmic Misfit’ show Saturday

Westport resident Atara Nova’s one-woman “Cosmic Misfit” show to be presented Saturday in Newtown.

WESTPORT — A local performer’s one-woman show, featuring her original songs in a multimedia showcase, will be presented Saturday in Newtown.

Westport resident Atara Nova’s show, “Cosmic Misfit,” is a “vessel for spiritual exploration and songs are medicine that bring community together,” according to a publicity release.

The performance is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Sticks and Stones Farm, 197 Huntingtown Road in Newtown. Tickets can be reserved online by clicking here.

Music by Nova, who teaches yoga at Yoga45 in Westport, ranges from pulsating beats to haunting melodies. The songs help tell the story of “one celestial being’s quest to heal herself and her community,” according to the publicity.
