WESTPORT — A “Pop-Up” art show, featuring more than 200 works in a diverse range of media, will be hosted May 3-5 by the Westport Woman’s Club.

The event, curated by well-known local artist Miggs Burroughs, will open with a reception at 5 p.m. Friday, May 3, and continue at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 4-5, in the clubhouse, 44 Imperial Ave.

The event is open to the public at no charge. Refreshments will be available.

Art work on display, including paintings, mixed media and ceramics, will be offered for sale at prices ranging from $50 to $1,500. The show will feature work by members of the Artists Collective of Westport, as well as other contributors.

Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted to purchase art work, as well as to make donations to philanthropic causes supported by the Westport Woman’s Club, such as grants, scholarships, service projects and community food closet.

Among the artists whose work will be displayed at the show are: Ola Bossio, Trace Burroughs, Louise Cadoux, Susan Fehlinger, Herm Freeman, Darcy Hicks, Julie Hicks, Erzsebet Laurinyecz, Bernard Perry, Dionne Pia,Jon Puzzuoli, Dorothy Robertshaw, Ken Runkel, Rowene Weems and Mark Yurkiw.

Karen Kleine is the club’s chairwoman for the event. 

Burroughs, who has curated the club’s annual art show since 2016, is a co-founder of the Artists Collective of Westport and a member of the Westport Arts Advisory Committee.
