WESTPORT — Art, music and fun will fill downtown streets as the Westport Fine Arts Festival makes Memorial Day weekend memorable for a 52nd year.

The festival, featuring work by more than 165 artists and craftspeople, will take place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, along Main and Elm streets. It is organized by the Westport Downtown Association.

The juried show will feature entries from artists in 19 states, including six from Westport and a total of 31 from Connecticut. It is considered among the “top-20 nationally ranked” shows, according to event organizers.

A range of creative work, which also will be for sale, will include exhibits in 11 categories, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, digital and mixed media, prints, jewelry, fiber and more.

Musical performances are planned throughout the two-day event, as well as a variety of “Sesame Street”-themed activities for children.

Food will be available, including fare from Los Poblanos restaurant, Alina’s Cakes & Cookies, Goni’s Gourmet, Good Ole Boys Kettle Corn, as well as range of soft and hard beverages.

And there will be other vendors on hand, offering a range of goods and services.
