GREENWICH — Art lovers are invited to escape from winter’s chilly temperatures and revisit the warmth and vibrancy of flowers through a new exhibition opening this week.

Floral Conversations by Toby Sue Gordon will run from Thursday, Jan. 15th through Feb. 26th at the Greenwich Arts Council’s Bendheim Gallery. An opening reception will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The exhibition conveys themes including vitality, renewal, reflection, and resilience through colorful depictions of floral scenes. The Greenwich Arts Council says the exhibition “offers an opportunity to pause and engage with the restorative qualities of color, leaving visitors with a lasting sense of positivity and renewal.”

Gordon is a professional artist who lives and works in Riverside. Her experience has included working as an art director for several companies in the fashion industry, as well as in textiles. Her works have focused on providing unique perspectives of natural phenomena through oil paintings.
