WESTPORT — “Time Stands Still,” a drama about struggling to maintain relationships in an unpredictable world, will be performed beginning Nov. 10 by the Westport Community Theatre over three consecutive weekends.

Performances, set for the weekends of Nov. 10, 17 and 24, will take place at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, at 2 p.m. Sundays, and at 8 p.m. for a show Thursday, Nov. 16. The play will be perfumed in the troupe’s space at Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave.

“Time Stands Still,” written by Donald Margulies, tells the story of “a photojournalist, wounded in Iraq, and her boyfriend, a foreign correspondent, who struggle to maintain their relationship …  when their own story takes a sudden turn, the adventurous couple confronts the prospect of a more conventional life,” according to a publicity release.

The drama received a Tony Award nomination for “Best Play” in 2010.

The cast includes Dana Chiapparelli, Aaron Newcome, Phillip Lorenzo and Emily Ramsey.

The production is directed by C.J. Nolan.
