New Yacht City revels in the happy, bouncy music from the mid-1970s and 1980s. Their Saturday set list has not yet been determined; the songs they regularly play include hits by Elton John, Steely Dan, Toto, Hall & Oates, Journey, Huey Lewis & The News, Fleetwood Mac and many others.

New Yacht City is helmed by Manish Nag, a keyboard player and vocalist. They are based in Princeton, New Jersey, with half the members from New York City.

“We are so excited to bring our high energy yacht rock to Westport this Saturday!,” Nag told Westport Journal. “We will have a 7-piece band with a horn section and backing vocalists.”

Nag said the show will be two hours with a quick intermission. Tickets $15 in advance (available here) and $20 at the door.

In addition to the music, guests can enjoy the VFW’s full bar and the wonderful view of the Saugatuck River.
