WESTPORT–The Westport Library has announced that Debbie Allen will be this year’s honoree at the 27th annual BOOKED for the evening celebration. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the Westport Library.

General admission tickets will go on sale August 18, at 10 a.m.

Allen is an award-winning director, actress, choreographer and producer. 

Over three decades, Ms. Allen has earned three Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe, five NAACP Image Awards, a Drama Desk, and the first Astaire Award (for Best Dancer). Her 2009 production of “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” on London’s West End earned her the Olivier Award.
