GREENWICH – Miniscule artworks submitted by artists from around the world are the focus of a new exhibition at the Greenwich Arts Council.

The International Miniature Print Exhibition is now on view at the Bendheim Gallery, located at 299 Greenwich Avenue. The exhibition will run through January 9th.

A collaboration between the Greenwich Arts Council and the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, the International Miniature Print Exhibition invites artists to submit original handmade prints measuring no more than four inches square. The juried exhibition has been taking place since 1997, and this year’s juror was Ann Shafer, an independent curator, art historian, and printmaking expert.

Shafer selected 89 works from artists from 11 countries and 21 states. A total of 416 prints were submitted for consideration by 173 artists from 19 countries and 23 states.
