WESTPORT — Many people know her as the longtime environmental activist who co-chaired the Green Task Force and has actively campaigned for a range of sustainability initiatives.

But Pippa Bell Ader is also an artist, crafting a collection of unique ceramic designs — a.k.a. Pippa’s Pots.

With a permanent eye toward a good cause, on Thursday she is selling some of her creations at the Westport Farmers Market to raise funds for the Green Village Initiative, where she has served on the board since 2013.

“GVI is a thriving Bridgeport-based nonprofit with a mission to grow food, knowledge, leadership and community through urban gardening and farming,” she said, “to create a more just food system in Bridgeport.”

All proceeds from Ader’s sales at the market will go to the nonprofit.
