Fans of best-selling author Daniel Silva can get an early copy of his latest Gabriel Allon thriller – and meet the author himself – at The Westport Library on July 14.

He’ll appear to launch “Ransom,” is the 26th novel in the series a Mossad agent and art restorer. In this one, when dazzling British socialite Alice Winter disappears, Allon is called upon to find her.

Silva will be joined in conversation with his wife, Jamie Gangel, an award-winning CNN television news correspondent.
