
WESTPORT — Rick Reyes and Santos de Palo, whose repertoire fuses folk traditions of the Caribbean Mountains and North America, will perform March 1 at Voices Café.
The concert is set for 8 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Voices Café in the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Westport, 10 Lyons Plains Road. Doors open at 7: 30 p.m.

Reyes, on guitar and vocals, will be joined by Asher Delerme on percussion, Kris Jensen on saxophone and Rich Zurkowski on bass and cuartro.
The concert will showcase the intersection of different musical traditions, including folk, bluegrass, country and gospel, according to the café’s announcement.
A multi-faceted musician, songwriter and artist, Reyes’s work reflects his roots in Bridgeport and Puerto Rico. In addition to his collaboration with Santos de Palo, his projects include the Cosmic Jibaros, a Latin rock band, and the Pasofino Social Club, paying homage to classic Latin bands.
He also has released, “Novela sin Tiempo,” an acoustic record that blends Latin and world music influences.
