WESTPORT–“It’s a Wonderful Life” will have a special screening on Friday, Dec. 19, at Sacred Heart University’s Community Theatre at 7 p.m.
Westport Journal’s film reviewer Susan Granger will be on stage after the screening to talk about Hollywood and to put the film, and its male star, Jimmy Stewart, into context.
Frank Capra’s 1946 movie has become a Hollywood classic. Celebrated for its timeless message of hope, resilience, and community, the film’s heartfelt story reminds audiences of the impact one person can have on their community. A perfect holiday tradition, it continues to warm hearts and inspire joy year after year.
