BRIDGEPORT – Several Westport artists are sharing their work this weekend as part of the 18th Annual AmFab Open Studios.
This event runs on Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 9th at the American Fabric Arts Building. The free event, part of the Bridgeport Arts Trail Weekend, gives visitors a chance to explore the studios, learn about each artist’s creative process, and purchase artwork.

In addition, visitors can enjoy events and attractions that include live music from Tim Payson and Rory Gordon, gourmet cookies from Rebel Daughter Cookies, The Plastic Horse Rescue Tour with activist kHyal, the Cartie’s Art Museum Bus for kids and families, and a Build Your Own Notebook Workshop with designer Karl Heine. Raffles will take place with opportunities to win art and tickets to the Quick Center for the Arts, and a food and coat drive will support the Bridgeport Rescue Mission.
Featured artists who are members of the Artists Collective of Westport or otherwise have ties to the community include Jay Petrow, Eric Chiang, Holly Hawthorn, Kelly Rossetti, Joe Floto, Janet Slom, Janine Brown, and Joanie Landau.
