Mary Ann M. (Marasco) Andronaco, 76, of Westport passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, at Yale New Haven Hospital.
Mary Ann was born on Dec. 3, 1947, in Norwalk, daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret (Garofalo) Marasco.
She has been a lifelong resident of Westport and a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School in Norwalk. Mary Ann worked at Morehouse Barlow in Norwalk, where she met her husband, and she enjoyed teaching religious education for many years at Assumption Parish. She was a breast cancer survivor of over 30 years and supported the Sherwood Island Breast Cancer Walk.
Devoted wife of 46 years and proud mother to her three daughters, Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Joseph V. Andronaco, and daughters, Toni-Ann M. Andronaco, Tracey L. Andronaco and Meghan M. Terwilliger and son-in-law, Christopher J. Terwilliger, as well as beloved dogs, Molly and Cammie. She is preceded in death by her dear aunts and uncles and loved pets, Tabby, Rory and Maggie.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral on Monday, Jan. 8, meeting directly at Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave., at 11 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery, 73 Greens Farms Road.
