DANVERS, Mass. — Despite a whopping nine-point performance by Tyler Clark, the Staples High boys lacrosse team was outlasted 12-11 in an overtime time battle at St. John’s Prep on Saturday.

Clark had four goals and assisted on five others. Gavin Rothenberg notched three goals and an assist. Ben Burmeister, Adam Udell, Jay Anastasi and Tristan Schaefer all scored for the Wreckers.

Staples visits Westhill of Stamford at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 9.
