WESTPORT — An eclectic mix of movies, ranging from animation fare for families to a cinematic classic, will be featured over the coming weeks at the Remarkable Theater’s Drive-In.

The movies, screened at 50 Imperial Ave., benefit the organization’s goal of opening a non-profit movie theater in downtown Westport that will employ people with disabilities.

Coming attractions include:

Aug. 16: “Coco,” an animated movie inspired by the Mexican holiday, Día de Muertos, was released in 2017. It is rated PG. Doors open at 6:45 p.m., the screening starts at 7:45.

Aug. 18: “Get Out,” a 2017 horror film with observations on racism, was nominated for a Best Picture Academy Award. It has an  R rating (anyone under 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian). Doors open at 8:30 p.m., the screening starts at 9:15.

Aug. 23: “Stand By Me,” a coming-of-age drama based on a Stephen King novella, was released in 1986. It carries an R rating. Doors open at 6:45 p.m.; the screening starts 7:45.

Aug. 30: “The Graduate,” a classic 1967 film, which garnered seven Academy Award nominations, is rated PG. It will be screened at 7:30 p.m., doors open at 6:30.
