WESTPORT — A “Virtual Visitors Day,” designed to promote ties between local business owners and professionals, is planned next week by the Westport Business Networking International chapter.
The online gathering is set for 7:30 to 9 a.m. Thursday, March 17.
To register for the Zoom session, contact Curtis Bentley of Health Directions at Curtis@health-directions.com, or Bill Hall of Advanced Rooter Plumbing at billhall747@gmail.com.
Westport BNI has 48 members, representing a range of business and professional categories. They serve as a resource for each other, and also serve as a “network of business services and solutions in Fairfield County,” according to publicity from the group.
The local chapter also is seeking new members in several business categories. Openings, according to the group, include representatives of these fields: security, HVAC, solar, photography, catering, bakery, florist, event planner, home inspector, moving company, travel tours, auto repair and dry cleaner/tailor/shoe repair.
Membership is structured to allow only one person per profession to join a chapter, according to BNI. Meetings are held weekly and potential business contacts are exchanged among members.
