WESTPORT — Voices, and funds, will be raised in support of people fleeing war-torn Ukraine at a musical fundraiser Saturday at the Unitarian Church in Westport.
The benefit concert by the Suzanne Sheridan Band will take place at 8 p.m. in the church’s Voices Cafe, 10 Lyons Plains Road. Doors to the event open at 7:30 p.m.
The performance, featuring the music of Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, also will be live-streamed.
In-person general admission tickets cost $25. To purchase tickets and for additional details, visit the Voices Cafe website. Current health and safety protocols for those planning to attend also are listed on the website.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit relief programs by Fairfield-based Save the Children, which is providing food, water, clothing, medical supplies and emergency assistance to Ukrainian refugees in Poland, Romania and Lithuania, according to program organizers.
In addition to Sheridan on guitar and vocals, the band includes Bob Cooper on keyboards, Joe Meo on wind instruments and Jake Habegger on drums.
For more information, call David Vita at Voices Cafe at 203-227-7205, ext. 14, or email david@uuwestport.org.

This is going to be one of those milestone concerts that people will be rhapsodizing about for years. Until you hear and feel the music as played by this band, this Suzanne, you have not really heard it or felt it.
