NEW CANAAN — The signature exhibition of the Silvermine Art Center, showcasing artists from around the world, has returned to the Silvermine Art Center.

A-ONE, now in its 76th year, will be on view through Oct. 22nd. The international exhibition highlights diverse artwork from both established and emerging artists.

A-ONE was established in 1949 as the New England Exhibition, and the regional show has now expanded to include artists from across the nation. Over the years it has featured the work of prominent artists such as Louise Nevelson, Elaine de Kooning, and Milton Avery, with judges and jurors including critics, curators, and directors from influential art institutions.

This year’s exhibition was curated by Robert Manley, chairman and worldwide head of modern and contemporary art at Phillips Auction House. For more information on A-ONE, click here.
